Lincolnshire and Humberside have proved to be very important areas for a major branch of the Havercroft family who are descended from Roberte Havercrofte*. He was baptising children in the early years of the 17th century in the village of South Ferriby on the south bank of the River Humber, U.K.. The site contains birth data up to 1904, and marriage data no later than 1920 to ensure that no information is provided on those who might be still living. The information being added to this site has been collected with care but will inevitably contain some errors. Please contact me to report errors as an when necessary. By sharing data collected by Havercrofts in Europe, Australia and America we can collectively make more progress than working alone. To protect the privacy of current Havercroft families, all data relating to 1900 onwards has been removed from the data presented. If you wish to contact me about more recent branches of the Havercroft families, I will be please to hear from you.
